STAINLESS STEEL ELEVATOR TRIM TAB PUSH RODS - for the deHavilland Beaver ----

The original deHavilland Beaver push rod, an aluminum tube with steel ends riveted in, doesn't stand up well in a saltwater environment. Sealand's replacement includes Teflon-lined rod ends. The SAL-2T-47C is a replacement part for the deHavilland DHC-2 Push Rod Assembly C2T47A. Our Stainless Steel Push Rods will not rust and are ideal for aircraft operating in salt water. The Stainless Steel Elevator Push Rods are approved as modification by Transport Canada, STA SA-91-15 and by the FAA STC SA1015NE.

The Sealand push rod is a 316 stainless steel tube with a wall thickness of .065". The ends are threaded internally. The original deHavilland tube is a 1/2" tube of 2024 T3 aluminum with a wall thickness of .020" and a 4130 steel insert riveted to each end.

Rod ends are stainless steel with Teflon liners; replacement rod ends are readily available.
--
