The original deHavilland Beaver push rod, an aluminum tube with steel ends riveted in, doesn't stand up well in a saltwater environment. Sealand's replacement includes Teflon-lined rod ends. The SAL-2T-47C is a replacement part for the deHavilland DHC-2 Push Rod Assembly C2T47A. Our Stainless Steel Push Rods will not rust and are ideal for aircraft operating in salt water.
- The Sealand push rod is a 316 stainless steel tube with a wall thickness of .065". The ends are threaded internally. The original deHavilland tube is a 1/2" tube of 2024 T3 aluminum with a wall thickness of .020" and a 4130 steel insert riveted to each end.
- Rod ends are stainless steel with Teflon liners; replacement rod ends are readily available.
- Each rod end comes with all the installation hardware. The hardware is all standard AN stainless steel.
- The push rods and rod ends are lightly polished stainless steel. They can be painted.
