Sealand Aviation is looking for people with a passion for aviation, people who, in accordance with instructions, have the skills and knowledge to assemble aircraft parts. Aircraft Assemblers need to be familiar with aircraft parts, hardware and material, and the identification and control of parts. They need to maintain records and traceability, read and interpret technical drawings and set-up and operate tools and equipment. They need to be able to work as part of a team.
A diploma from an aircraft structures course is required. See the Video about the structures course at North Island College.
Wages are $32,400 to $60,000 a year depending on experience.
Its a full time job, at the Spit Hangar in Campbell River.
